African Tribal Dance

This picture is trying to show the unique culture within African tribes. Each tribe has its own form of dance, music, attire that is particular to them. This picture is representative of the Maasai tribal dance.It shows the costume/dance wear of this tribe and it can be assumed that the color red is an important color within the tribe. Now that the people of this tribe are all dressed in similar attire, they will likely do a tribal dance now that is accompanied by some tribal music. Well nearly all African tribes have some form of dress and dance, they all vary to some degree. The people of Africa have customs that are very different to the ones in north America, but they are all filled with a rich ancestral heritage.

I found it very interesting that when a trader wants slaves he simply goes to the chief and tries to tempt him with European valuables. Often the negotiations lead into battle where if the European wins then the village people will go with him as slaves, and if the village wins the European will be killed.
